Training for Trainers: Buddhist approach
After the Super Training for Social Action
Trainers in Asia in Nov 2002, INEB is experiment with Training for Trainers:
Buddhist approach during 1-10 August. 16 people from INEB members/friends in
various Asian countries join this experiment led by Pracha Hutanuwatr in Wongsanit
Ashram, Siam. The focus is to provide both training skill and self transforming
practice which are essential in participatory learning process. This kind of
learning aims to generate self confidence to the participants/students.

Here meditation is a must. Other key concepts
explored were participatory learning principle, experiential learning principle,
critical thinking, self confidence and self awareness. we learnt through group
challenges (games), art, practice of teaching, etc. in the light of the Buddha
Dhamma. In fact Buddhism is the path of learning/practicing or sikkha.
Toward the end of training, we got an idea of networking Buddhist trainers who
work in various communities in Asia. The idea was not concretely developed yet.
However, we hope this is a start of cooperation among us.
